The Anchor Inn is by far the best pub in Hastings. All the beers are locally-brewed in Kent and you'll find things like Spitfire, Late Red, Brew Master, and Bishops Finger. I tried them all, in moderation of course! They're mostly amber beers, which aren't my favorite, but it's still a good place. The staff is very friendly and there are fireplaces in every corner of the pub.
A friend ve resides in this city took us to this restaurant. It's located across from the maritime promenade of Hastings. It's a very cozy and clean place. It has good service and many dishes to choose from. I liked the buffet of desserts where you could see running a chocolate fountain where you could put chocolate on any dessert.
It has several dining rooms to provide a quieter space or to host large celebrations. Hastings is a quiet town where you see numerous groups of students. I recommend it. It's located a couple of hours from London.
If you are in Hastings and do not know where to go out at night to dance and have fun I recommend Yates's. It is a bar / restaurant during the day and a dancing bar at night. This is one of the places that fills the most at night. The average age is twenty, so the music is mostly the latest trend and the older/traditional music is played closer to closing time.
If you wake up one day in Hastings and want to have a nice English breakfast, then go to Green Cafe & Bar. It serves a great breakfast, even for vegetarians. The owner of the cafe is very nice, he even offered to put the rest of my plate in Tupperware because I had trouble finishing it. The Green Café & Bar is located in old town, on George Street which is a pedestrian street. It is very good to walk.
