Or Pucheiro serves local, traditional Galician cuisine in Santa Cristina a few meters from the beach of the same name and in one of the busiest tourist areas in A Coruña. If you go there be sure to try their delicious mussels, rice stews or prime steaks.
It's a bar with a view of the entire Coruña, it is literally in front of the beach. I especially recommend the terrace in summer and I give it 4 stars, the only thing is the menu fails to have food. But if you want to eat there are restaurants nearby, one called "o xabre".
The Restaurant at Los Manzanos campsite is about 10 km from La Coruna and is close to Santa Cruz beach, it has gradually gained a loyal following so much so that at weekends their tables are filled with culinary offerings that are unusual for a restaurant at a campsite. A wood stove allows them to offer delicious pizzas and a variety of very tasty meat and fish dishes, such as tender sirloin with roquefort cream and bass. It has a playground for children to play while their parents eat. Desserts such as chestnut cake and tiramisu are well above the average.
I don't know the reason for the name change, this was once a traditional Galician restaurant near Santa Cristina beach, decorated with traditional sailors and, although the name sounds cool, the reality is that the decor is almost the same. What has changed is the menu which has been internationalized and now offers meats from around the world, such as African ostrich, Japanese Kobe beef and Australian kangaroo, but the clientele generally eats the Galician beef that is very well prepared with coarse salt.
Casa Hermo Restaurant is in Oleiros, this wonderful place has a warm atmosphere and is very nice. Its cuisine is varied and their dishes are made with high quality raw materials, which makes their flavors taste much better to the palate of the diner. The customer service is personalized.
We ate here last Saturday and dined on the terrace, we had smoked salmon and seabass marinade, followed by rice with lubrigante and for dessert coffee, coco mousse and mango soup - all wonderful, the wine menu wasn't bad with very reasonable prices (although we missed some white wine from Rueda) - the deal was exquisite.
As Cobas restaurant is an amazing establishment in Oleiros, in the province of La Coruna. It's a restaurant with wonderful views of the beach, which you will surely be impressed by. It is one of the best places to meet with friends and stay awhile.
