La Llana Beach

This beach Murcia is in the area where the Menor and Mediterranean Seas melt together. There is a sand spit that juts into the sea which, fortunately, is not urbanized. It is surrounded by dunes and salt flats of the San Pedro del Pinatar regional park. It has clothed and nudist parts. It is a beautiful beach environment, however, is slowly losing its charm due to a nearby marina that is being constructed. This is causing a shift in ocean currents, so that gradually, the sea is swallowing up the beach and most of the sand is disappearing. The images are from October. Luckily in Murcia this is still a good time to enjoy the beach.
