The Toja River´s Falls
One of the most unique spots of Silleda is Férveda Fervenza, a small river formed in Férveda (Escuadro). It is worth seeing, not only for the waterfall, but the surrounding area with its forests of oak, chestnut, birch, hazels, etc and the meadows and farms where the few locals keep their livestock. You access the road from Férveda, then continue on foot to the river on a dirt road to the waterfall. You can do a good walking tour, following the direction of As Brañas Xestoso. It is less crowded and more interesting to do Toxa Fervenza but not as straightforward.
Temples in Silleda
Carboeiro Monastery
Within inner Galicia are little paradises that preserve intact all their magic, such as the Carboeiro mosteiro in Silleda, at whose feet flows the Deza, forming a unique environment. The monastery was built on an ancient crypt by students of Mestre Mateo. After its heyday it was subdued by the local nobility and finally ended up depending on Santiago, which led to a rapid decline.

Sanctuary of the Saleta
The Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette is a few kilometers from Silleda in the province of Pontevedra via the road to the cemetery. The chapel is old but it is also famous in the village for the pilgrimage that takes place every year in September. As is customary in Galicia, the cemetery is situated around the church, usually the cemeteries are small like the granaries at the top. Once seen as there is nothing to do but wander around in the grass which is quite nice and you can get here by a the path of Saleta.
Rivers in Silleda
Fervenza de Escuadro
The waterfall at Ferveda (Escuadro) is of singular beauty, it is past the small village with easy access on foot and is much less known than the Cataratas del Toja (Toxa) but more authentic and natural. A place of natural beauty to visit and walk through riparian forests, it seems that time has stopped in this beautiful rural landscape.

Viaduct Over Ulla River
During my trip to the land of Deza and Ulla and visiting the Pazo de Santa Cruz de Ribadulla, I was impressed by this huge viaduct. It stands out as a great work of civil engineering which has been awarded the San Telmo in 2011, as it is considered the highest viaduct, with a length of 630 meters and a maximum height of nearly 117 meters. It is one of the most prominent structures shaft-Santiago de Compostela Orense high speed running ADIF. These dimensions give the viaduct over the River Ulla the characteristic of being the highest of all the Spanish lines of high speed rail, both in cell height as the arrow on the central arch.
Gardens in Silleda
Das Pedrosas Park
In the municipality of Silleda right next to the cemetery we found this park with a nice circular walk suitable for all since, and it's very well maintained. It has playgrounds, benches, fountains and a small forest which basically has oaks and birches.
