Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve

1 review of Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve

The perfect spot

Ok, Sonoma County is famous for its wines, but you can not visit Northern California without stopping for a half-day walk and picnic in the forest that the oldest trees in the world call home. I had never seen trees like this before. The trunks are huge, and seem almost muscular ... not to mention the peace and the small creatures like squirrels and deer that can be found in this national park. If you want to take a walk through the woods, commune with nature, and recharge your batteries, this is the perfect spot for you!
