Baobab de Joal

The baobabs are one of the symbols of Senegal, considered almost sacred by the inhabitants. Of these, the baobab Joal is the largest. Its huge trunk, and convoluted roots are an amazing picture. Also, you can go inside where there is ample space for you to stand. People tend to congregate around the tree to sell crafts to tourists. To get there you have to go through a beautiful pine grove.
