In this tiny town that is the oldest city in Portugal live around 2,800 people. It is marked by its rustic architecture and its lovely views that can be seen walking along the Lima River. The river, specifically its bridge, is where the city gets its name from. In addition to the river, you can fish and canoe. It's not too much a city of monuments, but it has old churches worth visiting, like the Church of San Antonio, built in the 15th century, and the Mother Church.
