Darjiu

Darjiu is a small Transylvanian village, located 18 kilometers from Sighisoara. You can reach the main road coming from Brasov to Sighisoara. As it's a small local village it's not very accessible via public transport. There is a rural house where you can stay, but if you want to do anything after 6:00pm, you should know that in such rural villages like this one rises and goes to sleep with the sun. We arrived at harvest time, weddings and winter preparation, rituals are the same as for centuries, meat is salted, potatoes are harvested ... We got the impression that they are very friendly people.
