Crossing the border is not difficult
Crossing the border from Poland to the Ukraine is not difficult, but as it's not in the EU you can take it easy, because the queues are endless and people are in a rush, they say a rush but they aren't. To enter the country must fill in your information on a form, name, nationality, reason for the visit, vehicle registration. The border police then collect all the passports and review them all, it lasts a little over 2 hours! Taking pictures at the border is prohibited, but I could take some from the bus. Leaving was somewhat faster for us as we were lucky. As you cannot take more than a liter of polish vodka, a bottle of wine, a few bottles of beer and a carton of tabacco, it was hard to resist buying more than was allowed, especially with how cheap everything was,especially vodka (about 2 € a bottle of 700 ml) .
