Pole of Inaccessibility

This experience is really from a friend of mine that went on this trip. It all started in the village of Bulin, the closest human settlement to Elisen Dzoosoton Desert, Xinjiang Province, China, where according to recent studies, the Pole of Inaccessibility of Eurasia is located. The nearest coast in a straight line is 2,648 miles from the sea, according to some studies. We decided to head to Hainan, one of the most beautiful coasts in China. The small village of Bulin is also near the border with Mongolia and as such, many of their customs and rituals are of Mongolian origin. 7 of our peers took the journey with us. It turned out to be a major route of 11 days and more than 7.5000 km across China to reach the beaches of Hainan where finally, the people traveling with us got to see the sea for the first time in their lives.
