Portal of the Cemetery of Blue

The place of this cemetery is, like almost everything done by Salamone, gigantic. It measures about 15 feet tall and in his forehead legend includes RIP (Requiescat In Pacem) with huge black letters crowned by a smaller cross the same color. Figures eternal flame can be seen represented symmetrically on the sides of the portal and in the center of the whole scene the Exterminating Angel as custodian of eternal sleep. On the back a huge white cross facing inside the cemetery marks the border between life and death. Under this huge portal is the Blue Cemetery Oratorio also performed by Salamone.
