Close to the Vysehrad citadel
The pub is close to the Vysehrad citadel and named after King Krok the father of the Czech nation. Krok built the castle at Vysehrad but his daughter, who could see into the future, had a vision of a great city whose glory will touch the stars. This vision led to the founding of Prague.
If you fancy a change from beer they serve good Czech wines which go well with the roast duck breast.
It is worthwhile to take a stroll around the walls of the citadel either before or after dinner.
