Wadi es-Sebua Temple Complex (Valley of the Lions)

2 reviews of Wadi es-Sebua Temple Complex (Valley of the Lions)

Magnificent

This temple is of minor importance in relation to the most important. It's on the shores of Lake Nasser and if it weren't for the obligatory stop point, it would be virtually abandoned. In fact, there are only a couple of policemen guarding it, rather for tourist security since there is virtually nothing around, but absolute solitude. This temple was built by Ramses II and is adorned with magnificent reliefs. It's one of the oldest Nubian buildings.
