This restaurant in Barbate is an exponent of quintessential bluefin tuna. You can taste it in many and varied forms and the signature dish is el morrillo a la plancha. Exquisite tuna with onions, contramormo, semimojama toast and tuna kebabs. A must in the Barbate area, it is the temple of the tuna.
A good choice. The owner is a "Tuna Ronquero in Barbate" not to mention the quality of the tuna, as is the excellent seafood paella and fresh local fish caught the same day. Very good service and quick service. Price from € 15.00 per person including drink and the food is varied. I recommend the experience and we will try dinner.
We finally ate after waiting for half an hour. The quality was normal, as the area is good quality. The quantity of food is more like a half portion, and it was very expensive as you have to order lots of dishes in order to fill up. That said, however, the waiters are very friendly.
This is a perfect place to eat, the atmosphere is the best of Barbate and it was full and the restaurant next door was empty! An waiter agile, of the remaining few, called Santi organized in a second the people waiting. The food was great and I went straight for the tuna Barbate. It has many specialties for 12 euros but if you don't want tuna they have many other dishes plus dishes for 5 euros! Seriously, it's cheap, fast and caters for the people of Barbate.
We were recommended several places to eat and this place was perfect. It is a good restaurant on the promenade of Barbate with friendly service, very good food and anti-crisis prices (10-15 € per person). The tuna and seafood stew were excellent. We will definitely go again.
El Capi restaurant is located in the town of Barbate, Cadiz and offers visitors the most exquisite Andalusian cuisine, characterized by its fresh, seasonal products. Specialties include the grilled coastal fish and almond pudding. The outstanding quality and service make this restaurant unique.
We tried the tarantelo and the tuna taco, asparagus risotto and fish of the day (croaker) which were all excellent and it washed down with a fine wine recommended by the chef. The location is also spectacular, right next to the cliffs and you can enjoy a beautiful sunset from the terrace.
San Jorami (Barbate) is a typical Andalusian restaurant decorated in wood, stone, cane and straw and situated in front of the beach. The meringues are excellent. They have regular flamenco shows and serve specialties prepared with fish and meat. The restaurant is open every day of the week.
