Live symphony music
The Chicago Symphony Archives Museum is located in Chicago. In 1951, Chicago Title and Trust, sponsored the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio and decided to test the waters of a new medium-television. It was very successful and what the Chicago Tribune, hailed as "the first U.S. weekly series of orchestra concerts on TV ... and presents the only regular live symphonic music in the country".
