Located on the long and famous Van Ness Avenue, heart of the Civic Center district, just before the city's magnificent opera building, the Veterans Building is worth taking a look at for its unusual architecture, which stands out in the city of 40 hills. The building houses the archives of the military operations of the United States and pays tribute to its' veterans.
