1 review of Votive Column of the Plague

Great place

This is another of Kutna Hora's baroque jewels, located next to the statues of the Jesuit building. It's also the workshop for the sculptor František Baugut. The Votive Column was built between 1713 and 1715 in response to the plague epidemic that Kutna Hora suffered in 1713, and which caused thousands of deaths. The square itself is home to numerous restaurants and shops. Weather permitting, it's a great place to have a drink on the terrace.
