Definitely worth a gander!
If you're looking for a quality book shop, this one is a perfect spot and a staple to the neighborhood. They always have the friendliest faces and welcoming smiles. It's one of the rare book shops in the city where they still do book signings. I've made quite a few discoveries here of my most favorite books (even if their travel section is not as vast as I would hope).
If you're with kids, the entire back wall is jammed full of kids books, a carpeted stage and toys. It feels like a true mom and pop type shop but in a modern layer. Chicago is full of diversity in its neighborhoods and this one is a great representation of Andersonville.
