Grande Allee

A Grande Alée é uma das vias mais antigas e conhecidas de Quebec. Antigamente era por onde os comerciantes chegavam à cidade (ainda dentro das muralhas) para vender peles. Mais adiante, tornou-se o lugar da moda para os ricos construírem suas casas e mansões. Hoje, essas lindas mansões são restaurantes, bares e clubes noturnos que atraem locais e turistas o ano inteiro. Quando o tempo está mais quentinho, os terraços e explanadas ficam cheios, e no inverno há mobília feita de gelo! Em geral, os restaurantes são mais chiques e caros ali. A maioria dos grandes eventos da cidade acontecem na Grande Allee ou no seu entorno, como a festa de ano novo, o Festival de Verão e o Carnaval de Inverno. Esta via, em direção à Velha Quebec, tem o nome rue St-Louis (e passa pelo Hotel du Parlement e pela Porte St-Louis), e para o outro lado é a Boulevard Laurier (passando pelo lado da Université Laval, e onde há 3 shoppings centers), acabando na Pont de Quebec. Também ao longo da Grande Alee há parques e museus, como o Plaines d'Abraham e o Museu de Belas Artes.

This means, toward Old Quebec, is named rue St-Louis (and passes through the Hotel du Parlement and the St-Louis Porte), and the other side Boulevard Laurier (passing through the side of Université Laval, and where h 3 shopping centers), ending the Pont de Quebec. Also along the Grande Alee h parks and museums such as the Plains of Abraham and the Museum of Fine Arts.
